One Box To Replace All Your A/V Cords

By Manisha Kanetkar | Tuesday | 06/02/2007

The new CINDE PowerManager is designed to cut down equipment rack cord clutter, replacing multiple external DC plug packs with one central AC-to-DC converter.

The company says it's a great solution to lack of outlet space and is ideal for use in a range of A/V applications and industries using a number of low-voltage products such as IT and security. (Note that it is not a surge protector though, it is a power manager).

The product comes in a range of versions including PowerManager-5 for 5VDC, PowerManager-12 for 12VDC applications and the soon to be released PowerManager-9 for 9VDC applications.

The PowerManager provides 6 phoenix style connectors for direct wiring to the DC device. A front panel LED provides visual indication that maximum power capacity is approaching and the unit also has alarm capabilities, to alert users to any power failures.

The product comes with a two year warranty.

RRP:
PowerManager-5 and PowerManager-12 - $439.00
PowerManager-9 - $469.00
