The FinePix F100fd incorporates Wide Dynamic Range to produce photos with more shadow and highlight detail, as well as Dual Image Stabilisation for anti-blur protection.
The in-built Face Detection 3.0 Technology is designed to detect up to 10 human faces in 0.036 seconds and can also identify faces at any angle in a 360-degree range regardless of whether the faces are profiled, tilted or upside down.
The camera has settings up to ISO3200 at full resolution and an ISO12800 sensitivity at 3-megapixels or lower. This higher sensitivity enables the capture of non-flash photos in extremely low-light and the ability to freeze action with fast shutter speeds.
Another feature is the Portrait Enhancer Mode - which mimics a professional photo studio setting by using Face Detection and preset camera settings. This has the ability to minimise fine lines and small skin blemishes for smooth, natural looking portraits.
