  New Universal Remote From Philips

Philips has unveiled the Prestigo SRU8015, a universal remote control that promises a ‘quick and easy wizard-based setup’ that allows a user to control 15 devices without the need for a PC, a manual, or the Internet.

The SRU8015 features a 2-inch colour LCD screen with personalised channel icons and a rotary cursor for fast menu navigation. Home entertainment devices can be intuitively controlled with just one touch, while advanced functionality is easily accessible. The SRU8015 is also a ‘learning remote' as it can capture and store infrared signals from the original remote for later use, says Philips
