Samsung recently conducted extensive research in Good Sleep technology involving the Bukyung National University, Busan, Korea which revealed that a room's temperature should change in accordance to sleep patterns, to achieve longer periods of deep sleep and ensure an optimal night's rest. Temperature is gradually lowered during the falling asleep stage; it is then raised slightly for the sound sleep stage and finally for the wake up stage, it raises room temperature in order to raise the body temperature for a refreshing wake up.
