  New Samsung Whisper Quiet Vacuums

By Sarah Falson | Tuesday | 12/02/2008

Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a range of five new bagless vacuum cleaners with ‘whisper quiet’ technology but ‘super power’, offering a host of features to take the vileness out of vacuuming.

Outputting from just 73dB of sound, the vacuums are based on the brand's Stealth model, released in 2007, however the new line-up offers both twin chamber and multi chamber models.

Ranging in price from $199 to $699, all five models reach a maximum 500 watts of sucking power, holding up to 2 litres of dust in an easy-to-clean chamber.

According to Samsung product manager – cleaning home appliances, Paul Lipscomb, the new range is set to make an impact with retailers and consumers.

"When purchasing a vacuum cleaner, consumers look for the two S's, suction and silence. This new range of floorcare products aims to address both consumer preferences in maintaining strong, long lasting suction power, while operating at a whisper quiet sound level," he said.
