Samsung has launched a new line of induction cooktops that claim to cook or reheat your food faster than a conventional stove.

The Samsung ‘Anydish' CTI613GIN and CTI613EHST units are up to 25 percent more energy efficient than ceramic electric cooktops. It cleverly detects the size of your cookware, activating the area that is required for cooking and leaving the remaining surface cool to the touch. The CT1613GIN also comes with an ‘Anydish zone' that allows a user to use any sized dish to cook.

Its flat surface and touch-sensitive controls make it easy for users to clean the cooktop.

Samsung's Product Manager for Cooking, Kathy Sudnik says that they want to give users the best cooking experience possible.

"More often than not the kitchen becomes the heart of any home. At Samsung, we are always striving to provide our customers with products that offer an ability to cook for the family using the very best technology and easy to use appliances. Our new induction cooktops are faster, greener and cleaner than many other products on the market and will appeal to chefs and cooks alike," says Sudnik.

The Samsung CTI613GIN (with Anydish feature) and CTI63HST cooktops are available now with an RRP of $1,699 and $1,499 respectively.
