Free LCD TV With New Samsung Fridge

By Manisha Kanetkar | Tuesday | 27/03/2007

Samsung has launched what it claims to be the first four door fridge in the world – the Quatro. Consumers who buy the fridge before the end of june also receive a bonus 66cm Samsung LCD TV.

As the name suggests, the Quatro refrigerator has four separate compartments, each of which is controlled and cooled separately with its own evaporator and fan. This means you can keep certain types of foods in one compartment to make sure they are in optimal humidity and temperature conditions.

Featuring a 725 litre capacity, the side by side fridge also includes an ice and water dispenser in the door, a drink hatch and an internal water filter.

The Samsung silver nano health system is also in place – this basically means the interior of the fridge is coated with silver ions to act as a shield against growth of bacterial and other microbial organisms. Samsung says these ions, due to their inherent anti - bacterial properties, destroy the bacteria and prevent further reproduction, leading to effective protection , of food inside the refrigerator. It also helps sterilise and deodorise the fridge, the company says.

Available in a stainless steel finish, the fridge has a blue LCD display and 3.5 star energy rating. If you purchase the fridge between April 1 and June 30, Samsung is offering a bonus Samsung white 66cm LCD TV (LA26R71W) at participating retailers. See www.samsung.com/au/digitall/promotions/index.htm for further information.

RRP: $5999
