Tonight's showcase, at Ark Space Display House in Sydney's St Peters, will be a "showcase of sustainable living and energy saving technology of the future," according to Ark Space.
Attending will be Control4's US-based international sales director.
Ark Space's philosophy is to perform the majority of construction work in a factory-controlled environment with completed modules or panels transported to the site and craned into position when ready. On-site work is minimal and restricted to essential finishing trades and utility connection work.
Ark Space claims to reduce the labour component of construction (typically the most expensive component of a building's cost) by using systems more typically used in car manufacture than traditional building construction.
