"[The blinds] were designed with everyday consumers in mind," says Designed Blinds Managing Director Kevin Clarke. He believes that pricing will be the key to the new range. "The prices we have seen in the past decade….are not what the average home decorator could afford," he said.

As well as pricing them to be affordable to the everyday consumer, the manufacturer has utilised Italian-designed remote-control transmitters in a range of colours and designs they hope they will add to the appeal of this often over-priced household item.
