  Dynalite Has A New Face

By David Richards | Wednesday | 05/10/2005

lighting control system group Dynalite has launched a suite of coloured SmartHouse lighting panels that incorporate an innovative clip-on cover fastening system.

key to the system is  a unique button that allows installers to adjust the depth of the cover across  any flat  surface from 1.2mm to 6.5mm in depth.  The exterior design on the covers allow consumers to match kitchen panels to bench tops in stainless steel, stone or laminate finishes and to glass splashbacks. you can also match floor and wall tiles to create a continuity of design. A Dynalite spoksperson saqid " Wood, stone, metal, plastic, vinyl, glass in fact just  just about any material you can imagine can be applied to this system". To complement the panel face, button caps are available in silver, white and charcoal grey, providing a wide range of décor matching possibilities. The nhew range is called Revolution.

Dynalite claim that for years, interfaces for lighting control, home automation and energy management systems have been aesthetically limited. Now Dynalite has removed the constraints and developed a new range that can be used in both a commercial and residential setting.

the Revolution panels are available in a range of configurations from single column, catering for one to eight buttons, through to double or triple column designs featuring up to twenty-four buttons. The panels come in both Australian & European mounting configurations, which expand the potential for the range.

Smooth action buttons with LED indicators provide tactile and visual feedback and are easily removed for engraving to assist in identification of button function. Button backlighting is also provided to illuminate engraved text, improving night-time panel location and operation. Infra-red (IR) receive capabilities have been integrated, eliminating the need for separate sensors where IR remote control operation is required.
