By Caroline Warnes | Thursday | 16/11/2006

Control4 has entered the world of wireless music distribution.

The automation company has unveiled its WiFi Speaker Point, which sends music wirelessly to any room in your home.

The system receives digital audio then converts and plays the music through an integrated 50-watt per channel digital amp.

Like all Control4 products, it is an extremely cost-effective solution, given the quality on offer.

Control4 says that when the system is couple with a media controller, it can accept a wider range of audio sources, including a CD player, receiver or DVD player.

It can also be used with an MP3 player to download songs, compile playlists and play different music in different zones.
