December, the amplifiers have received a lot of attention with their level of output power, as well as in their design and electronics, the company says.

According to the local JBL distributor, Convoy, all the amplifiers come with high-quality connection terminals, have substantial power-supplies and their low-profile Aluminium housing ensures efficient cooling and should provide a stable operating environment. They also feature discreet white LED lights.

The new GTO models (except the 5-channel model) have a useful preamplifier output. The 5-channel and mono-subwoofer power amplifiers also have a Dynamic Bass Optimisation (DBO) circuit that skilfully combines the variable subsonic filter with significant bass boost. A bass-level remote control is also supplied with these models.

RRP: from $399 to $699
