JBL Rolls Out Two New Car Subwoofer Boxes

The new subwoofer enclosures feature dual-stacked magnets and a vented motor structure to increase both performance and power handling. Proprietary Slipstream technology, incorporated into the port is designed to eliminate background noise and ensures steady airflow so that the bass remains clear and deep, even at high volumes.

The new subwoofer enclosures have been computer-optimised, are precisely pitched and permit powerful bass reproduction right down to the lowest frequencies. Vented pole-pieces offer additional cooling and, like the solid heavy duty connectors, ensure durability. Oversized protective metal bars protect the cone against potential damage by items in the car's boot.

The GT5-1204BR and the GT5-2402BR have a RRP of $279 and $599 respectively.
