  Free Upgrade For GPS Users

By Mike Wheeler | Wednesday | 28/05/2008

GPS provider TomTom is offering a free map upgrade for first time users within the first 30 days of firing up their TomTom unit, if a newer map has been published during that time.
The latest map guaranteed is enabled via TomTom Home, the free software package from TomTom, which allows users to update software, buy new maps, personalise their TomTom GPS, access QuickGPSfix and activate the latest map guarantee.

TomTom's new offer comes as they release the new Sensis Whereis 2008 V.15 Australian map.

Features of the map include:

  • 99.2 % coverage of the Australian population
  • Traffic location tables for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane
  • Increased address range coverage to over 215,000 addressable kilometres
  • Extension of Australian speed limit data to over 48,000km of roads

RRP
Sensis Whereis 2008 V.15 $149
