BEST OF BEST AWARDS 2008 / HOME OFFICE

We Pick The Best Home Office Products For 2008

By Manisha Kanetkar | Thursday | 13/12/2007

This year Google with its free Google Apps software took on Microsoft in a big way in the home office space. We also saw Intel unveil its faster, better processing powers, Telstra offer some serious broadband speeds (pity about the service though) and saw companies cram a hefty amount of storage into tiny little USB flash drives. But this year, we felt the real product innovation in the home office category was in the little products. Innovation is often in the details and these little products, often overlooked, can actually have a huge effect on how you work - making life more comfortable for you.

Logite ch Alto Cordless
www.logitech.com | RRP: $179

And this is precisely what we mean when we say innovation is in the details. These days notebooks can offer enough performance and convenience to allow users to replace their desktop PCs. What many people don't think of though, is the effect this has on your back and wrists. The Alto stand ensures you are positioning your notebook in the most ergonomic way possible. Lifting the screen to eye-level to stop you from hunching over it, the unit also gives you a full sized keyboard to give your wrists a break.
