Skunkworks' Big Plans For US Market

By Sarah Falson | Tuesday | 18/12/2007

Australian-made mounting solutions company, Skunkworks, will be showcasing its wares at the up-coming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, taking advantage of the larger booth real estate secured by the company’s US distributor, Arrowmounts.

Skunkworks has enjoyed distribution in the US for about a year now, through the LA-based distributor which now sources stock from a new purpose-built warehouse in the US.

"It's still early days for us in the US market," said Skunkworks director, Claire Linley.

"This year's CES will really be the launching pad."

Arrowmounts and Skunkworks will be places on booth number 7821 in the Central Hall at CES in January, where the Australian mount-maker will display its new Fenice FE2A automated column.

"Arrowmounts is one of the leading specialists of mounting solutions on the west coast of the US and we're very excited to be working with them," said Linley.

"CES this year is a proper launch for Skunkworks and now that we have stock on the ground we are aiming to capitalise on that early interest and make some real inroads into the US market."
