Apple is offering up sex evaluation rankings, with the launch of a new iPhone application that measures just how good you are in bed.

The new $4.99 ‘‘Passion'' app which is set to be hot with both male and female lovers makes full use of the built in microphone and motion sensing technology. Grunting scores extra points.  But the big killer could be the timer that accurately records staying power.

 All you have to do is place the phone on the bed and bonk as long as you can to get an impressive result.

The phone will then give you a rating out of 10 based on three key measurements, duration, orgasm and activity.

The timer measures duration, while the accelerometer measures activity and the microphone measures the orgasm.

And if that is not enough the score can be uploaded and compared to those of other people from around the world.

The app was developed by Chris Alvares, a US computer science student.

SmartHouse is now looking for participants for live reviews of the device.

‘‘All you have to do is start the application, put your iPhone on the bed, in an arm band, or even in your pocket and have intercourse, it is as easy as that,'' Alvares wrote in a blog post announcing the new app.
