The boss of CEO, Eric Schmidt has slammed Microsoft calling them an anti competitive organisation he has also said that Companies who want to protect their brand should "not act like Microsoft".
Speaking in Sydney at the announcement of a new regional development and sales HQ Schmidt also admitted despite several requests from the US government Google does not release data or information to them without checking the legality of the request.
He said "We do not collaborate with the US government to the contrary we vet every approach to ensure that their request is legal".
Talking on the economy and the recent downturn in global markets he said "The US market has some serious issues and while many people believe that the US economy is in recession we are well positioned to handle any downturn".
