In order for a user to show off photos taken from their digital camera, they must either transfer it to the PC or have the files printed out in a photo lab. Digital photo frames has addressed that issue by providing users with a more ‘direct' approach of displaying their photos, all without the need of a computer.
The Nu 8-inch Digital Photo Frame comes in a black acrylic frame and comes with four memory card slots that can read SD or MMC cards, Compact Flash cards (CF), Memory Stick Pro/Duo cards, and xD Picture cards. It also comes with a USB port that can read files stored in flash devices or portable hard disk drives, as well as a mini-USB port for direct transfer of files from the PC. At the back of the frame, users can also find the power switch, brightness control, control buttons, and speakers for MP3 playback.
