This waterproof digital movie camera has a 6.0 mega pixel resolution sensor with 5x optical and 12x digital zoom, a digital stereo recording and noise reduction function, and a wide angle function that can capture subjects as close as 1cm, the company says.

Users can also take a photo while recording video just by pressing the shutter button, with an added digital image stabiliser for correction of camera shakes. In addition, a floating strap is also available, which can be attached to the camera in order for it to prevent from sinking.

Pricing and Availability:

The Sanyo VPC-CA65EXW will be available from selected stores in September 2007 and will have an RRP of $699. The floating strap is also available and has an RRP of $69.95
