The FS100 records to SD or SDHC memory cards, doing away with the need to accommodate bulky media such as tapes. Recording directly to memory cards, the FS100 makes sharing movies easy – give cards to friends, or insert a card into a compatible card reader to transfer video to a computer. Card sizes are constantly increasing, so the FS100's capacity grows as technology advances.
The FS100's Megapixel CCD captures high-qulaity movie images and the True Wide High Resolution 16:9 recording system captures video in panoramic detail – suited for playback on widescreen TVs.
