Firmware Pulled After PS3 Crash
Sony’s firmware 2.40 has been recalled after it caused PS3’s to stop working properly when users installed the new update, according to a report out of informationweek.com.


Xbox Prices Slashed
Microsoft today announced it has lowered the recommended retail price of the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system in Australia to AU$349. This comes on the back of Sony's July giveaway of 35,000 PS3 consoles with any purchase of a Sony flat-panel TV.
