This, says Microsoft, is a saving of $169.90. The bundle also includes a component HD AV cable, Ethernet cable and 30-day trial of Xbox Live Gold membership.

Australian Xbox Director David McLean said in a statement, "We're fully committed to delivering a great Christmas to our customers in 2007. We not only offer our customers a brilliant value high-definition gaming console but also an impressive line-up of over 300 great games from our stable. Xbox 360 is the only place this Christmas you'll be able to experience blockbusters such as ‘Halo 3', ‘Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock', ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare', ‘Viva Piñata: Party Animals', ‘Scene It? Lights Camera Action' and ‘Mass Effect' to mention just a few. It's not difficult to see why Xbox 360 is the best-selling next-generation console in Australia."
