Sega Debuts The Club Free On Xbox Live

By SmartHouse Team | Tuesday | 08/01/2008

Sega has unveiled its latest shooter game The Club on the Xbox Live Marketplace. An exclusive demo of the game is now available for download to 360 console owners.

Developed by Bizarre Creations, The Club focuses on one of eight misfit gladiators players who must fight in a shadowy underground blood-sport run by a secret group of sick millionaires.  Each character has their own reasons for being in The Club – some are there against their will, others to experience the ultimate high.  Whatever their reasons what unites them is the need to kill quickly and.

The demo features ‘The Prison environment'; a disused crumbling, tomb-like Federal Penitentiary, lying in a remote region of one of the less glamorous Rustbelt states, one playable character (Renwick, a tough, no nonsense, NYPD Detective whose investigations brought him too close to The Club), single player modes ‘Sprint' and ‘Time Attack' and multiplayer splitscreen.

The Club will be released across Australia on February 7th 2008 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
