The seven staff who work for HP in the UK each won $12M each however one employee who had been in the syndicate and pulled out two weeks ago missed out.

The winners in the EuroMillions lottery all turned up at their office yesterday morning - then erupted in joy when they found they had each scooped a fortune. Workers hurled photocopies of £20 notes from a third-floor window and one waved a whiteboard with "I'm Minted" scrawled on it. They then  launched into a champagne celebration as it dawned on them that they were millions better off.

In addition to the HP winners one married couple from Newport, in South Wales scooped $165 million dollars.
