  New Channel For Nintendo Wii

By Manisha Kanetkar | Wednesday | 14/02/2007

Nintendo has launched a new Everybody Votes channel for the Wii Menu which allows you to vote on various issues with people around the globe and then compare your answers.

"If you have ever wondered whether many other people share the same opinions, preferences, likes or dislikes as you, then the Everybody Votes Channel is a quick and easy way to quell those curiosities" says Nintendo Australia's Rose Lappin.

"From whether people believe in aliens to what they would do if they had one million dollars, this quirky but addictive channel lets you find out what others think as well as being a great discussion starter with family and friends," she said.

Nintendo says it will offer three questions each week for the general poll, when voting closes, the latest regional results of the poll will be made available. In addition to voting, Miis can predict the outcome of the poll to see ‘how tuned in' you are.

Apart from the three general poll questions each week, there will also be worldwide poll questions on the channel. These are set twice a month. And you also have the opportunity to suggest a question to add to the poll as well.

The Everybody Votes Channel can be downloaded for free from the Wii Shop Channel.
