According to Acer, its Aspire Predator G7700 will feature a metallic copper coloured case design with a mechanical front cover, an overclockable Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor, and an nTune overdocking utility that claims to easily overclock the CPU, RAM, and graphics cards without rebooting.
The rig also offers two-way enabling Nvidia SLI for high performance graphics, can handle up to 8GB of DDR2 800/1066 MHz SDRAM, and comes with a Hotswap Hard Drive solution that makes the four SATA hard disks removable even when the PC is turned on. This new range of PCs also features an advanced liquid cooling system that prevents the unit from overheating.
Acer's Product Specialist for Consumer Desktop in the Oceanic Region, Aaron Jambrovic said, "The Aspire Predator holds a unique distribution strategy. The product can be ordered and configured online and therefore customised to specific gaming needs as well as units being available through specialised valued channel partners."
Other features include a Dual Gigabit LAN technology and comes with a teaming mode that permits two connections to work at the same time for network redundancy.
The Aspire Predator desktops come with accessories such as a Logitech multimedia gaming keyboard and mouse, as well as a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium.
