Toshiba Rolls Out HD LCD & 3 DVD Players

By Branko Miletic | Tuesday | 08/07/2008

Toshiba has launched its high definition, REGZA XV500 LCD TV series along with a suite of DVD players.
The REGZA XV500 is one of the only LCD panels to combine full HD, with an integrated digital tuner and a thin-line bezel, according to Toshiba.

Designed for movie buffs and avid sports fans, this new range brings action to life with 100Hz technology, which introduces an extra frame between the original frames to reproduce a smooth and natural movement for fast action scenes. It also brings compact style to the living room with a thin-line bezel screen, only three centimetres wide.

Combined with its latest DVD line up – which includes HDMI technology for convenient single cable AV connection in pristine quality – Toshiba is once again delivering exceptional images into Australia's digital living room.

The XV500 series delivers true-to-life pictures thanks to Toshiba's breakthrough Clear Frame, Dynalight, Cinespeed and Ambient Light Sensor technologies.

To avoid possible motion blur with fast motion video, Clear Frame doubles the frame rate to 100 frames per second, or 100Hz.
