Sony's X4500 series comes in 40-inch, 46-inch and 55-inch screens, while the W4500 is available in 40-inch, 42-inch and 46-inch screens.
The X4500 offers Full HD 1080p imaging, 4x HDMI ports, and what the company claims is a new, unique floating design. It utilises Sony's new Bravia Engine 2 PRO, which filters and cleans images before they are displayed. This reduces picture noise and widens colour range and smoothes motion. This system also boosts contrast, claims the manufacturer. Other features include 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, four HDMI ports and a USB port.
If users don't want HD, they can utilise Digital Reality Creation 3.0, which will unconvert the screen and take it back to a non-HD format. The X4500 comes for speakers, two woofers on both the 46-inch and 55-inch sets.
The W4500 series uses the Bravia Engine 2 imaging processing, and Motionflow 100Hz tech, which is designed to keep images crisp. It has a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and three HDMI ports.
The W4500 is available in September, while the X4500 is coming out in October.
