Sony Launches New Home Computing Concept

By Mike Wheeler | Friday | 06/06/2008

Sony’s VAIO TP series – the Living PC - is a fully functioning PC that integrates all the entertainment capabilities within your home environment. With HDMI connectivity, a bundled HD TV tuner and Blu-ray playback capability, the TP2 turns your HD TV into a high-definition PC monitor and hub of your digital entertainment.

"The TP series has been created as a link between people and HD devices and represents true AV/IT convergence within the home," says Jun Yoon, Sony Australia's Channel Marketing Manager for VAIO.

TP2 features include:

  • 500GB hard disc drive
  • A Blu-ray Disc Combo Drive that allows you to experience HD movies on an HD-ready TV via the TP2's HDMI connection.
  • Wireless keyboard with touchpad and remote control.
