Bose TrueSpace digital circuitry works with Dolby Digital, DTS and Bose Videostage 5 decoding circuitry to help the 3•2•1 systems deliver much of the performance of a five-speaker home theatre system from a variety of audio and video sources, including DVD-Video, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and AM/FM.

Two proprietary Gemstone speaker arrays are used in both the new 3•2•1 GS and 3•2•1 GSX systems. These arrays use powerful neodymium iron boron magnets to provide rich, full sound for movies and music. Each system includes an Acoustimass module, a media centre with a built-in DVD/CD player and an AM/FM tuner, plus audio inputs for three additional sources. A universal remote lets users control their system and most attached devices.

To expand audio capabilities throughout the home, the new 3•2•1 systems include Bose link circuitry and can be easily connected to the Lifestyle® 38 and 48 home entertainment systems for an additional room of sound.

The 3•2•1 GSX series III system features the uMusic intelligent playback system. This Bose technology digitally stores and organises the content of hundreds of CDs – up to 200 hours of music. It then learns a user's listening preferences and prioritises music selections automatically. Both systems are available with graphite grey or silver speaker arrays.
