Samsung's AV Division Product Manager, Jeff Peake said, "The HT-BD2T is the perfect home theatre system for AV enthusiasts or consumers who are new to Blu-ray and want to make the most of the format. A home theatre system is essential for creating surround sound so with the inclusion of a Blu-ray player, consumers have one easy solution for the best quality audio and visual in the one package. For many people, this system can completely replace their existing home entertainment package."

The system comes with seven speakers that include an expanded centre, four tower and two satellite rear speakers, an active subwoofer, and comes with Samsung's AnyNet+ technology that allow users to use one remote control for their TV and home theatre system. This home theatre system will play the latest Blu-ray titles, and can upscale your old DVD library to 1080p.

The HT-BD2T is available now with an RRP of $1,759.
