  Sony Releases New Bravia Projector

Sony has just launched a new projector that comes with a new SXRD panel that claims to offer superior resolution, contrast, response, and Blu-ray disc 24p playback support.

The Sony Bravia VPL-HW10 sports an all-new design, incorporates the Bravia Theatre Sync that gives you full control over all Sony home cinema systems, two HDMI ports, an ultra-quiet fan and improved lamp life.

This projector also claims to have an "Advanced Iris 2" technology that automatically detects and adjusts picture brightness and contrast to reproduce the quality of the input signal, X.v Colour for an unprecedented range of rich colours, and Deep colour for finer colour shades and smoother reproduction through HDMI.

Other features include:

• New ARC-F (All Range Crisp Focus) lens
• 1.6 times zoom lens to fill an 80" screen at just 2.45m
• Adjustable lens shift for perfect picture alignment
• 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution

Availability and pricing:

The Sony VPL-HW10 Bravia Home Projector is available this month with an RRP of $3699.
