The PT-AX200 sports Light Harmoniser II technology which senses and responds to the room's immediate surroundings, including the lighting, adjusting the lens's gamma curve, iris setting along with the lamp power and picture sharpness to correct any inconsistencies on the screen.
The company's own Advanced Dynamics Sharpness Control allows the projector to display fine details even when the image is being projected on a large screen, such as 100 inches or more (diagonal). According to Panasonic, some projectors emphasis sharpness at the cost of producing a ‘halo' effect around images; the PT-AX200 sharpens only the pixels in the image areas where there is a small change in brightness level.

Panasonic's technology ensures that optimal viewing is maintained at all times – with an optical unit that delivers 2,000-lumens brightness; and Light Harmoniser II. Which senses ambient light levels and adjusts the picture accordingly so images are bright and easy to see," said Panasonic Australia category marketing manager, home AV and TV, Adam Roberts.
