Denon Receiver With Optional iPod Dock

By Caroline Warnes | Thursday | 13/07/2006

Denon’s latest home theatre receiver is being offered with an optional control dock for iPod.

The optional control dock (the ASD-1R) allows you to connect your iPod directly to the new receiver (the AVR-2807), as well as other Denon-compatible components, to share music, pictures and images. The dock is compatible with virtually all iPods that can be docked, including the Nano.

The iPod can be controlled with the Denon remote control to send content to your TV or monitor.

The AVR-2807 itself features 1080P processing capability so it can process high definition free to air and digital video source, and can also accept HDMI configured sources such as the upcoming PlayStation 3 and Blu-ray players.

The AVR-2807 receiver has a RRP of $2199 and the ASD-1R iPod dock will set you pack $199. More information is available at www.audioproducts.c om.au
