The Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX comes in 4GB and 8GB storage capacity models and is compatible with various Sony products like the Alpha DSLR, Cyber-shot, Handycam, and even the PlayStation Portable.

The PRO-HG Duo HX is three times faster than Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark2, offering data read speeds of up to 200MB per second.

Sony Australia's Product Manager for Retail Media, Maurice Satya said, "Sony continues to respond to consumers' ever-increasing need for larger portable storage devices. Possessing a sizable storage capacity and faster data transfer speed, the new Memory Stick HX series allows users to spend more time enjoying Sony's entertainment devices, making it easier to share content than ever before."

The new Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX series will be available in Australia from October 2008 with an RRP of $84.95 (4GB) and $154.95 (8GB).
