  Waterproof Keyboards & Mice From Backplane Systems Technology

The InduProof series IP68 Keyboards and Mice have been developed for industries where ease of cleaning or disinfecting is a requirement, such as pharmaceutical, medical, chemical and food manufacturing.

The InduProof series have a wear and tear resistant silicone surface with Dura-coating for high mechanical and chemical resistance. The silicone mat is glued to a 3 mm thick aluminium base plate creating an IP68 protection rating, which means they can be submerged in up to three metres in liquid and is dustproof. High quality OMRON mechanical short travel switches assure accurate and tactile data input

With an extreme operating temperature range of -40 °C to +90 °C these InduProof Keyboards and Mice are designed for use in any hygiene critical medical environment. The Mice are based on the same quality components and manufacturing standards and have a reliable optical engine, suitable for almost any surface.
The InduProof Series is available in two different interfaces, two PS/2 interfaces (keyboard and mouse-button) or a USB interface These Keyboards and Mice are available in grey, medical green and black.
