  Logitech Debuts Portable Notebook Stand

By Mendelson Tiu | Thursday | 30/08/2007

Logitech claims to give notebook users comfort and convenience with the launch of its Alto Cordless Notebook Stand - a display riser that comes with a cordless keyboard as well as a three-port USB hub.

The Alto notebook stands are designed to improve comfort by raising notebook displays to the optimal viewing height and distance, encouraging a comfortable posture. By providing a cordless full-size keyboard, including a numeric pad and padded soft palm rest, the Alto Cordless helps increase productivity, reduces fatigue, and enables faster and comfortable typing, the company says. In order to reduce clutter, the Alto Cordless instantly flips open and snaps closed with the help of specially designed magnets.

Logitech's Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Marco Manera said, "As the notebook PC becomes the form factor of choice, many people have sacrificed comfort for the convenience of the laptop. We don't believe it's necessary to make that sacrifice. The Alto family of notebook stands gives people comfort and convenience. We're confident the latest addition to the Alto family – the Logitech Alto Cordless Notebook Stand – will continue to redefine the notebook PC experience."

Pricing and Availability

The Logitech Alto Cordless Notebook Stand will be available in October for an RRP of $199.
