Targus Protects PC Users Against Prying Eyes

By Mendelson Tiu | Wednesday | 09/01/2008

Targus Australia has launched a range of Anti-Glare Privacy Screens designed to protect the data displayed on a notebook or LCD monitor from prying eyes.

Five screens are available: 12.1 inch widescreen ($99.95), 14.1 inch widescreen ($119.95), 15 inch ($119.95), 15.4 inch widescreen ($119.95), and 17 inch screens ($139.95).

Targus says that the micro-slim film covers the surface of your notebook or LCD screen, narrowing the viewing angle to a maximum of 45 degrees each side of the central viewing line. Unless sitting directly in front, viewers see only a dark, unclear screen. The screens can be attached with either adhesive strips designed specifically to stick on notebook or PC screens, or by means of attachable tab guides that allow the privacy screen to be simply slid on or off.

The screens are also antiglare, relieving eyestrain and protecting the screen from scratches or other damage.
