New ADSL2+ Broadband For Home And Office

By Sarah Falson | Monday | 24/09/2007

National service provider Telarus has developed a range of ADSL2+ high-speed broadband plans that rival offerings from major providers like Telstra and Optus which are suitable for home and small-to-medium office users.

The plans offer access speeds of up to 20Mb/s downstream and 820Kb/s upstream and include Telarus Home DSL Plus, Telarus Business DSL Plus and Telarus Business VPN Plus, all three of which are being marketed as a cost-effective high-speed alternative to services offered by larger providers.

"The actual speed that a customer will receive will be the maximum possible given factors such as the distance to their local exchange, the quality of the copper access to their premises and sources of interference," said Telarus managing director, Jules Rumsey.

"With Telarus Business VPN Plus, three speeds of access will be offered with options ranging from an affordable entry-point solution to a competitively priced option at a maximum speed available with ADSL2+."
