The data service includes data access using GPRS with configuration support for a range of popular mobile phones on the market now, while the voice service offers customers with voice services Australia-wide allowing them to also request access to IDD (International Direct Dial) and International Roaming with call waiting, call hold and call conference functions all supported on the network (handset dependent).
Messaging options include voicemail, SMS and MMS messaging as well as a "CallScreen" option, which allows a live operator to take a message for the user using a set greeting. The message is then sent via SMS to the user's Telarus Mobile handset.
According to Telarus, there has been a lot of demand from its customers for the company to roll out a mobile offering to complement its existing voice, data and hosting products.
