  Bargain ASRock Board

By Rob Gillam | Wednesday | 21/06/2006

The ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 motherboard has managed to leave the big boys on the motherboard block looking decidedly sheepish.

The 939Dual-SATA2 is arguably the fastest AGP mobo on the market and does nearly everything else better than most competitive products, for a third of the price.

This is the board to get, should you want to hedge your bets and sleep soundly in the knowledge you won't wake up to discover a newly released device has suddenly rendered your equipment configuration redundant.

The ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 can:

•         ;   Get the most out of ‘best-of-breed' AGP cards

•       &nbs p;   Run an Athlon64 beyond its legal speeds

•        &nb sp;  Be ready for PCI express

•       &n bsp;   Be AMD future-proof (upgradeable to Socket M2)

•            Run up to six monitors, including a mix of AGP and PCI express cards simultaneously.

And, it does all of this for less than the price of a bad parking fine ($110). Buy one, but be prepared to embarrass your friends when you tell them the price.
