The voluntary recall is necessary as a small number of the speakers have been found to be faulty and there may be a risk of a fire occurring if the speakers are used. 

 The nationally sold product, which was sold after March 22 has a defect that Logitech says "may be faulty and there may be a risk of fire when the speakers are in use."

Only 12 speakers are in question, and all of them have been sold to Australia Post.
