The VX2235wm also features anti-glare technology, a frame rate of up to 5000fps, 1680x1050 resolution and high brightness. These factors, combined with the fast response time, make the monitor suitable for graphic-intensive applications such as gaming and home cinema, ViewSonic says.
The monitor includes seven preset modes so the user can adjust the settings automatically. Other features include duel input (DVI and VGA), sRGB colour management and HDTV 720P support.
The introduction of the VX2235 also marks an achievement for ViewSonic, according to country manager John Yeh.
"The addition of the VX2235wm to our current product line means that we are the only manufacturer to offer a complete range of LCD monitors, from 17- to 23-inch," Yeh says.
The monitor is available now with an RRP of $749. More information is available at www.viewsonic.com.au
