  Shock-Proof LCD Monitors

By Caroline Warnes | Thursday | 24/08/2006

Mitsubishi’s two new premium LCD monitors are both scratch-proof and shock-resistant, according to the manufacturer.

The lightweight design for the 17-inch (DV174BP) and 19-inch (DV194BP) monitors includes a protective screen. The monitors' durability makes them suited for use in environments such as classrooms, public areas and point-of-sale displays, Mitsubishi says.

Other features include an 8ms response rate for minimal lag, high brightness, resolution and contrast. Each monitor comes with two BNC connectors and two S-Video connectors.

The DV194BP also has DVI, VGA and audio computer inputs, as well as a built-in speaker, a headphone jack and Windows/Mac compatibility.

More information on the DV174BP (RRP $729) and the DV194BP ($1059) is available at www.mitsubishi electric.com.au
