As well as being made of aluminium, Apple devotees believe that the company has managed to find a way to make the aluminium skin a one-piece, making it thinner and lighter. Interestingly, it is also said to be a lot cheaper - whether Australia gets the same pricing structure as Europe we'll have to wait and see.

Notable features are claimed to include trackpads, as well as a second multi-touch screen. Trying to get hold of somebody from Apple Australia was nigh on impossible, not that they would have confirmed anything anyway. We're guessing a late 2008 or early 2009 arrival for these shores.
