LG says that the BE06 is ideal for the home or office for back-up of a large number of files, photos, or any company documents. BE06 records up to 50GB of data, the equivalent of up to 9 hours of high-definition video or 23 hours of standard definition video (on a dual layer 50GB BD-R/BD-RE recordable media).
It is the perfect burner for laptop users or users that have multiple PCs as it can simply be plugged into the PC via a USB 2.0 connection and a DC power connector. It is also compatible BD, HD DVD, DVD and CD formats, making it the most universal unit available.
