The Coolest Wall of Bricks You Will Ever See

By David Richards | Sunday | 23/04/2006

If you are looking for something to really impress your friends how about some palimpsestual electronic architecture in your new home.

The core technology behind the architecture is a wall of virtual bricks that allows one to pump images to the bricks of visitong guests.

The new technology called Brix is composed of a wall of virtual bricks and a camera that sees what is happening in front of the wall. When one approaches the wall, the surface reflects the image captured by the camera, in a thousand rectangular pixels. The image of the inter-actor slips onto the wall and after a few seconds, freezes as a photograph.
