By Manisha Kanetkar | Tuesday | 29/08/2006

Anyware has released three new Compro VideoMate TV Tuner products that allow you to watch and record digital TV on your PC.

The VideoMate S350 is a digital satellite TV tuner card with Philips 9-bit ADC for watching and recording free-to-air high quality DVB-S TV shows on your PC.  It supports high-speed internet via satellite (where available), DiSEqC 1.2 & SDTV and 1080i HDTV (where available).

The VideoMate T100, is a silicon digital TV tuner card with Philips 9-bit ADC chip. It allows for autoscan in VHF/VHF band, digital recording in MPEG-2 format and conversion of analogue video into MPEG-1/2/4 formats.

The VideoMate U500 DVB-T Stick is a USB bus-powered thumb-size digital TV Tuner featuring a DIBcom demodulator chipset. Anyware says the unit allows for plug and play free-to-air digital terrestrial TV broadcast on your desktop or laptop PC, regardless of where you are.

All three products come with remote controls and are bundled with ComproDVD 2 and Ulead PhotoExplorer 8.5 SE software for watching DVDs and managing multimedia files, and with ComproDTV 2 software which Anyware says will enable you to watch digital TV shows, flexible scheduled recording, play recorded files, timeshift live TV, channel surf and capture still frames. It also supports the picture in/out picture which allows you to watch live TV and playback video files at the same time, as well as have one main channel and three sub channel windows open at once.

The products will be available in Australia in September.
