  New PC TV Tuner Card From Compro

Users can now watch and record their favourite shows with ease as Anyware Computer Accessories has released the Compro VideoMate E700 dual digital TV tuner card for desktop PCs.

Using a high bandwidth PCI-Express interface, The E700 brings clear digital terrestrial TV broadcast to your desktop PC, and turns your computer into a home entertainment centre, the company says.

In addition, the E700 is certified for Windows Vista Premium x86/x64 (32/64Bit) system and possesses a very attractive Compro-exclusive feature called S5/S4/S3 mode Power-Up Scheduled Recording. The company claims that with this feature, anyone can program their Compro E700 to record content on your PC when you're away as the PC will turn on, record your desired footage and then turn off once complete.

Bundled with Compro exclusive ComproDTV 2 software, the E700 will allow you to watch up to four digital programs at the same time, schedule recordings, play recorded files, customise your favourite channel listing for ease-of-use as well as customise brightness, saturation, contrast, sharpness and audio properties in every channel.

The VideoMate E700 also comes bundled with ComproDVD 2 and Ulead PhotoExplorer 8.5 SE software for watching DVD's and managing your multimedia files and Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 SE for DVD authoring. The powerful features of the accompanying remote control will ensure that the E700 is the best choice for your PC's media centre.
